Hara Lines Meditation
The HARA is a ball of energy about 1″ around that is deep in the pelvis, about two inches below the navel point and two inches into the body from there. Right above the perineum. HARA means a sea of energy. It appears to me in healings that the HARA is the gateway between the energy body and being on the planet. This is our entry point to the 3D world, to our physical body on the planet. I’ve since read that the gateway of the HARA is that it’s connecting us to an etheric sea of energy that envelopes the planet. As a result some call the HARA the gas tank of our energy body, even its center.
In martial arts there is a focus on the “tan tien.” This is a bigger ball of light in the pelvis the size of a soccer ball, around the HARA, and gains its energy from the HARA. The tan tien is connected to our energy, physical body and organs. Blockages can cause overeating and other addictions as we crave the chi nourishment that we aren’t getting enough of.
Hara Energy from the Earth
I see the HARA itself as like a seed that needs energy from the Earth and light from Above to activate. Once it has both it sprouts into our own Tree of Life. There is a deep rooting of the HARA onto the planet through our legs, and down from our perineum, and part of this is through something called HARA LINES. These roots draw nourishment up from the Earth. There are seven main HARA LINES , according to South African healer, Rita Marr.
I’ve been working on a meditation to strengthen the HARA LINES coming up our legs and perineum over the last few months. I have used it effectively for clients who have difficulties in particular with abundance and being overweight. I’ve promised putting this meditation/healing on a voice recording, and here it is, at last!
Once the HARA LINES integrate with the HARA I see the energy fan out into the tan tien (also known as tantien or dantien) like the unfolding, or fanning, of a peacock tail. Or like the image of a pod I found on my land yesterday, pictured to the left. The threads go up from the HARA to the tan tien to fill it with chi, and from there to nourish all in the body.
Despite what the tool says, this meditation/healing is only 13 minutes, not 1 hour 37 minutes!
Another way to help strengthen the HARA area is with Tai Chi and/or Qigong. Here is a really good Tai Chi companion meditation working on the lower tan tien and its connection to your feet, as it really enhances the strength of the HARA LINES.
